Anything for Theo!

  1. I worked for Jennifer Lopez (her fashion label - J. Lo/Sweetface) over 7 years ago.  She is stunning in person.
  2. Brian Williams, Tommy Hilfiger, and Mark Twain are also from my hometown.
  3. I’m a walking medical weirdo -a) my ears sit at two different levels - making it impossible to find glasses that fit my face appropriately.  b) my left foot/ankle are significantly bigger than my right. c) I have a benign brain tumor that causes my pituitary gland to freak out (but nothing to be worried about - ask me about it if you want more details).
  4. I played the trombone in grade school and was in the marching band until I had to play a half-time show in my cheerleading uniform…then I quit because I thought it was uncool.  Too bad Quinn Fabray’s character (Glee) wasn’t around at the time to prove otherwise.  I was also in the show choir…
  5. The Christmas after I graduated from college (December 2004), my mom gifted me a beautiful nativity set.  I was annoyed and unappreciative of the gift at the time.  So immature.  Now it’s one of my most treasured belongings.
  6. I’ve accumulated at least 50 pieces of Diane von Furstenberg apparel over the last 7 years (combo of dresses, blouses, jackets, bathing suits, bags, and shoes). Let’s call it a collection.
  7. I love cookbooks but I don’t cook (baking is more my speed).
  8. I go to Anthropologie every single Tuesday morning because that’s when they do sale markdowns (I don’t always buy…I just go because it’s a stones throw away from my office).
  9. I never ever ever ever buy ANYTHING unless it’s on sale (unless I’m shopping at Target).  I’m frugal and savvy like that.
  10. I’ve been single for almost 6 months - the longest stretch of time I’ve ever been without a boyfriend since the age of 15 (well, in college he wasn’t technically my boyfriend but…). I had 3 different boyfriends in 14 years.  Let me break it down: Fran (age 15-16), Ben (age 16-20), and James (age 20-29).  I’m learning all kinds of new things about who I am.  It’s not easy but I’m convinced it’s worth it.
