Two Slices Deep

OK, so I’m two slices (and two glasses) deep and starting to feel sluggish.

Luckily, my favorite movie of ALL TIME just started on the Oxygen Network.

The Wedding Planner

(**I’m no less ashamed to admit this than I am to eat an entire pizza and tell the internets about it!)

OK, so it’s arguably one of the worst movies of all time (both acting and plot) but I can’t help it.  It’s the movie that inspired me to do what I do on a daily basis (true story).  Deep in my heart, I still feel like there’s a bit of truth to it…the event planning part…not the love story part.  I really and truly hoped that a career in the event industry would involve wearing a headset, crafting my own stationary, and going on site-visits to luxurious wineries where I could ride horses and pick out garden statues.

Have you seen the first 8 minutes of this movie? Yes? Well, I actually have an emergency kit that I imagine I’ll strap to my chest (similar to a bullet proof vest) during some big important event in the future.  I distinctly remember going to the aisle of travel-sized toiletries after watching this movie for the first time to find a mini bottle of Evian Misting Spray.  Said emergency kit resides in the top drawer of my office desk.

Also? Eating brown M&M’s because there’s less food coloring makes complete sense.

Finally, I’ve totally tried the lemon juice/salt scrub mixture she suggests when I went a little spray tan crazy in college.

Just saying.
